SEYMOUR, INDIANA - Schneck Medical Center is proud to announce the addition of the GE HealthCare SIGNA™ Artist MRI system, an advanced imaging technology designed to enhance both the patient experience and the diagnostic care.

The SIGNA Artist features a spacious 70-centimeter wide-bore design, giving patients more room and helping create a more comfortable scanning experience. For many exams, patients can be positioned feet-first, significantly reducing feelings of claustrophobia. The system also utilizes innovative AIR™ coil technology, which wraps around patients like a lightweight blanket rather than a traditional rigid coil, further improving comfort during the exam.
Beyond patient comfort, the new MRI system delivers exceptional image quality through advanced artificial intelligence-powered technology. These capabilities help produce highly detailed images that support physicians in making accurate diagnoses and developing effective treatment plans.
